Analysis of residue-contributions to supertype-specific cross-binding

   Peptides binding to more than one allele are prime targets for vaccine and immunotherapy development because they are relevant to higher proportions of the human population, and immunologists and vaccinologists are urged to further define the contributions of residues in the peptide to HLA allele binding. The matrix-based predictor provided a quantitative matrix in which the counts described the contributions of amino acids to binding ability
